It's A Dog's Life

This evening Lindy took me to the store for Smart Pets. I am not just bragging about my obvious intelligence. It says so right on the sign: "Smart Pets." Here's a picture of it.

On the way there, Lindy put the top down on the car just for me. Very thoughtful of her. She's always thinking about me... What kind of treats to get me, where all she can take me, stuff like that. It's because of love that she does it.

When I got there, I saw a lot of other animals.

Here's a shot of me looking at some hampsters.

And here's one of me looking at the guinea pigs. Guinea pigs make Lindy laugh.

And, best of all, here's a shot of me getting a treat from the cashier. She liked me. I could tell.

I didn't have any balls, at least not any that float in the water, so Lindy bought me two new ones -- both red -- so, now I've got balls. And she got me a treat too.

After the shopping, me and Lindy went for a walk around the shopping plaza. That part was alright, I guess. Not as much fun as shopping.

Mainly, I just like being with Lindy because she is my guardian. It's important to spend time with your guardian whether they are doing anything for you or not because maybe, just maybe, they are happy that you are there.

Hope you've got balls!

Love,

Rowan

Lindy took me to my bank today. I had a swell time riding in the car and everything but, funny thing, this bank won't let me come inside. Can you imagine! My guardian has had an account at this bank for many years and they still won't let me inside. The only reason, and they said so right out, is that I am a dog. And to top it all off, I didn't even get a treat from the teller. It's just canineophobia, pure and simple, and it's unjust, I'll tell you what. Just plain unjust. I don't worry because I have friends at my other banks and I am not even sure what a bank is anyway so no big deal. It's just the inhucanineity of it all.

After that experience Lindy took me for a ride in the country where I saw some deer and barked at them. I like doing that.

Love,
(except deer)

Today Lindy took me for a ride in the car. It's cool riding around in the car.

Anyway, I saw these deer just walking around like they owned the place. I barked in my highest and most annoying bark. It drives Lindy nuts.

Eventually they went away.

After we saw the deer, a car with real pretty lights on top started driving behind us and the nice man in that car talked to Lindy for awhile and gave her some green papers. I was good and didn't bark. The nice man said that Lindy can go see the judge which sounds like almost as much fun as barking at deer.

Here's hoping no deer are bugging you.

Love,

Rowan
