What are the plans of the Canine Bishops for consultation with the Feline Bishops?

We are all for the New Interspecies Coalition over here.

And we don't buy all the pejorative talk about the Communion "going to the dogs."

We're fine with its going to the dogs as long as it also goes to the cats.

Of course, some would say that is a slippery slope. Canine Bishops, Feline Bishops, what next?

Now, about that pastoral plan. Are you ready for us to reach out to you too? We are not just creatures to be "reached out to in ministry," dear brother Bishop, we are Cats and we Minister. When we feel like it, because we are Cats.

Your eminence, I was very happy to be invited to visit your blog. I am just a mere lay-canine. I really like my mom's rector (he plays on the floor with me), but Mom refuses to take me to church because she says it's not allowed. I think that is a stupid rule. Do you think you could get it changed?

What is the protocol for meeting a canine archbishop? I know humans have to kiss a ring. Is it ok if I sniff your privates like you were a normal dog, or do I have to do something else?

I like the pictures below of you in the car. I have to ride in the backseat of Mom and Dad's car. I have my own car seat there and everything. I like it when we go to the forest preserve. I do NOT like to go to the vet or the groomers.

Of course MP is correct. I am extremely humbled by it all... and still hoping for treats. That, I believe, is the hope that all us dog bishops share. The supreme hope for treats.

I have not received my Lambeth invitation and I am really wanting to go because I heard the Queen of MadPriest and all England has a big party where she gives the bishops treats. I don't want to miss out on that. Plus, I'd like to play with her corgies. I hope my invitation is in the mail.

I don't think they have treats at GAFCon but if we have a BARKCon meegting... Well, we can have treats every day and egg on our kibble too! Count me in on that.

Hey, Fran, you are a great human for taking such good care of your cat that God made for you. I eat Flint River Ranch dog food. It's all organic, baked not fried, and it's the reason I look so pretty and have such big muscles. I know it will help equip me in my new apodoglick ministry too. It's real easy to digest too on account of having no corn in it. That way I can spend all my energy chasing things and not digesting my food. Just a suggestion. I love you. I am a dog after all...
