This morning I want to show you some new photos of me and trees. As you know I like climbing them, and I am pretty good at it too.

  • WHOA, you are super tree climber. Maybe when you're up there you can find squirrels to eat, hmmmmmm!

  • Thanks Balboa!

I'll be working all day with my guardian but may have some fun later. Wish me luck with that.

  • Rowan -- unfortunately we are having computer problems at home. My computer here at work is not good enough to show the awesome pictures of you. As soon as our other computer is fixed, we'll be able to take a look! (Diane and Scout)

  • Wow, Rowan! Does that super-dog cape help you climb?
    Poppy

  • Well, actually, Poppy, that is a vest, not a cape. And it is an official safety garment for me to wear when I am doing my very important duties at the lake. And, it helps my guardian and other people see me better. And, yes, I believe it does help me climb a little higher.

    Thanks for stopping by.

    Love,

    Rowan

Thanks for sharing..if we hadn't seen it we probably would have believed but we like the pics....

  • Thanks Airchicks. It IS pretty unbelievable. But, as I said to Poppy, my official vest helps.

    Rowan

  • Wow Rowan! You are SUPER-DOGGIE! I bet that vest (flying cape) really helps you fly high...just be careful OK! You need all 4 paws in working order!

  • Hey Rowan. I'm glad you like my SuperDog cape. My mama made it for me about a week after she adopted me. When she is stressed out or sad she likes to make things. Like your shiney gold star. She is always making something!

I'm so jealous of your tree-climbing ability. I wish I could do that, but my legs are too short and my back hurts to much. I would love be in a tree!

Glad you're wearing your official safe dog vest at the lake. Can't be too careful around those humans.

  • Rowan, wow, I finally got the computer to show the pictures of you in the tree. How do you do that? I can't do that (Scout says). Scout also says, I was shut in the basement by mistake last night, and ate a hacky sack. So far, I still feel good. tails wags to you.

  • Right Randy - Safety first. That is why I have the vest. It's a safety vest, and I guess that makes me the safety officer. The official safety officer...Yeah...that's it.

Romeo, I am glad your guardian has something to do when she is stressed or sad. That is when our guardians need us the most. Bring her over here sometimes and I'll give her some nuzzles for you.

Scout... Scout, Scout, Scout... Silly dog, hacky sacks are for humans. Of course, your human does deserve it for leaving you in the basement.

My guardian has not been feeling very well. She even let another pet sitter do our job today and she just laid down all day except for taking me out for weedling and going to the bank which apparently is more important than doing fun stuff with me. She is not any fun at all. I've taken a bunch of toys to her bed and she just ignores me. So I am woofing to the dog gods over this because I've never seen Lindy like this. I am afraid it may be this way forever. Lindy did tell me not to worry. She expects to make a good recovery and get back to playing with me soon. But, I've been worried. I lick her and everything. Just wish me luck.

    Love,

    Stressed Rowan

  • Dear Stressed Rowan,
we know you care about your human very much and we are praying for her too. take good care of her!

Scout: for some reason, they are watching me carefully since I ate that thing called "hacky sack."

Diane: she ran downstairs in the middle of the night when it started thundering again.

We hope everything comes out all right!
