It's A Dog's Life

Friday, August 17, 2007

Well, you can see that I had the very good luck of having company this week. Ms. Marianne came over to see me and give me some pets. You can tell that Ms. Marianne is very good at petting. I especially enjoy those ear pets.

Unfortunately, Lindy was home and she monopolized some of Ms. Marianne's time with me. But, that's OK. Lindy needs friends too.

Well, I hope you are all getting the kinds of pets you need. And, if the humans who are supposed to love and appreciate you fall down on the job you can always turn to THE Guardian who loves you all the time.

Love,

Rowan

  • Dear Ms. Diane,

    It bears repeating...
    I am one lucky dog.

Have a great weekend and play with Scout!

  • Rowan:

What the heck is going on down there...

Ms Marianne came to see you and Lindy pushed her way into your time.....Did you get treats for this interruption of pets ???

Ok, Lindy might have known Ms. Marianne first but we bet you give better kisses....

Hey - take the girls out for some ice cream.....

  • Well, I DID get treats and pets from Lindy later in the evening. And, like I said, she needs friends too.

As long as I have the airchicks to myself I'll be happy!

    Love,

    Rowan

  • Rowan, we are a photogenic couple, would you agree? Although I really think you make the picture! And those adoring puppy eyes melt my heart!

Thanks for being such a great dog!

  • Well, I hope your heart has not melted too much because you need that. Be careful.

I hope you will come and pet me again soon because it really does feel good.

    I love you,

    Rowan

  • Rowan!
We were walking passed your house yesterday and saw a HUGE red tomato! Do you get to eat it???

  • Lindy and I walked past there too and she took a long look at the tomato. I think she is planning to pick it tomorrow. Fat chance I'll get any of it though. I have to eat dry kibble. I'd love to sink my teeth into one of those tomatoes. I think they taste like liver. Otherwise why would humans make such a big too-doo over them? It's only logical.

    Love,

    Rowan
