It's A Dog's Life

Thursday, August 23, 2007

This is kind of a serious subject but me and my guardian feel that this report from John Stewart is worth watching.

We both feel that people should treat dogs nicely. Lindy says that it's even a requirement that HER guardian told her about so you know it's real.

So, humans be nice to your dogs. And, dogs, give some nuzzling to your guardians and try to take good care of the humans.

Love,

Rowan

  • hey. Stewart at his sarcastic best! I used to watch the Daily show all the time, but I started going to bed real early when Scout wore me out, and, even though we really like some of it, parts of it are too raunchy for my husband.

  • My guardian won't let me watch some shows on TV because they just don't portray humans in a very positive light. Apparently, it is real hard for them to behave and they can hardly love one another at all. It's a sad situation with the humans. I try to love Lindy as much as I can and be kind to everyone because I figure the humans need as much help as we dogs can give to them.

I don't think Mr.Vic ever got much love in his life and that is why he is such an sorry a** human. And, now he is so far gone that even dogs can't love him enough to restore his humanity. That's pretty bad because everyone knows dogs are the best at loving.

All the dogs that Mr. Vic killed are at the Rainbow Bridge so no worries about them. They did their best to love their human and that is all THE doG asks of us, to do our best.

I sure hope Mr. Vic can get some love, though. Because he is about the saddest human I've ever heard of. Sad and disgusting. And, if you're a dog, really scary.
Just be thankful that you've got a good dog like Scout to help you be a better human. Helping humans like you and Lindy really is a full time job but it is so rewarding to see you grow into more and more better humans with more love and kindness and treats and playing and more treats.

I am real glad that you and Lindy managed to get some love so that you can be good dog guardians.

    Love,

    Rowan

  • This whole thing makes us really sad and upset. Real bad. I'm glad my grandpa isn't alive to see this stuff. He loved sports, but not as much as he loved dogs!

  • Dear Romeo,

Your grandpa was one of the good humans, that's for sure. I know you and your guardian are missing him a lot.

Licks and a nuzzle to you both.

    Love,

    Rowan
