My Prayer About Grendel
Dear God and Jesus,
Thanks to you guys for being there to meet us dogs when we finally come home. Help Grendel find the part of Heaven that has gravy in it and make sure please that he gets his golden tail.
Please, God, give licks and cuddles to Grendel's Mom and Da because they are going to be real sad. We all are, God. So, help us not be so sad and to remember that Grendel is in the arms of infinate love and the land of unending gravy.
I love you, God, and Jesus too, and I'll be along when I'm finished down here.
Your good friend,
Rowan

As we look to the intercession of St. Grendel of the Gravy, we hope all dogs have love and Gravy!
Hope this finds you happy and healed,
your friend,
Avie.
Peace out, Scout!

Rowan, please tell Lindy that I am thankful for her comment about my post on "Call it what you will". Those are the words I often long to hear from those who happen upon my blog, or just from friends. There is something in us that often cries out with no one to hear. I think I was crying out for someone, anyone, to say that I matter, that I mean something to someone. I know I meant something to my beautiful dog-child, Dragon, before he died. I miss my boy, he was the most faithful of companions and touched my life, like Grendel and all the wonderful pups that ever belonged to a human.
Thank you Lindy. Come and visit anytime and feel free to write; I would love to hear from you again.
