I had a very fun day today of going to the lake and hanging out with my guardian. Here are about... well, quite a lot of really great photos of me:

  • O boy, o boy, I wish I could play in snow. That sounds great. I had to do quite a lot of work today with Lindy. It's sometimes hard but I know she needs me. On the plus side, I got to go back to the lake for a few minutes so it wasn't all work.

  • Hey, Grendel, I'll bet you are happy that your name starts with the same letter that starts out gravy. That's cool. I got gravy on my kibble yesterday on account of it being Christmas and everything and me and Lindy said that we hope you were getting some gravy too. It is pretty cool this week but most days it feels real good to go in the water and get some ice cream after. Austin is very temperate. That means swimming weather. That's not a cape but, now that you mention it, a cape might help me fly. I can't fly yet but I can jump high. That's close. I love you Grendel. I hope you get some gravy today.

    Yes my name is GRendel, like GRavy, and I am Glad! I got Bacon Gravy** today and that is my favorite cause it smells Smokey!

    **some People say Bacon can't make Gravy but I say to them, "Oh Ye of Little Faith in regard to Gravy!!"

  • Grendel,
    Protectioning is what we do for our guardians. That's what barking is for. Whenever you want to keep something away from your guardian -- real or imaginary -- just bark. Guardians love it when you do that for them. It is especially meaningful if they are sleeping because that's when they need the most protectioning.
