It's A Dog's Life

If you would like for me to notify you when I update my blog just send me an email at or leave a comment on my blog.

Actually, I don't do it myself. I get my guardian to take care of the minor administrative tasks of life like obtaining food and paying my bills and running my blog. She dosen't mind. But, just email me, and I'll tell her to add you to the list.

  • Hi Rowan,
I am a friend of Lindy's from The LGBT Anglican Community group. Lindy is smart and funny and challenging, all the best characteristics for adopting parents.
My cats, Wanda and Stretch, have perused your blog with fascination. They are pretending to nap on the bed, but I hear them plotting. They want their own website or blogspot. Well, who can blame them?
Thanks for sharing your story with us. (Tell Lindy to keep reminding us when you post new messages or pix.

  • Dear Pat,

Thanks for your kind words about my guardian. She is a good guardian and I love her and everything. She could be a little more forthcoming with the treats, but I don’t want to get into that right now.

If Stretch and Wanda were here I could chase them. I am sure they would enjoy that. I know I would. I like cats at lot. Chasing them, that is. If you send me their picture, I’ll put it on my blog.

I’ll tell you what I’ll do, Pat, is I’ll put you on my blog notifications list so you can get an email every time I update. And, if Stretch and Wanda get a blog, let me know. It takes awhile to learn how to type, and having paws doesn’t make it any easier, I’ll tell you what. But, if you help them some I am sure they’ll get the hang of it in no time.

    Thanks for writing.

  • Dear Rowan,
I enjoy reading your blog, but as you well know, I need reminding about using the wonders of the Internet, including your blog. Don't take that personally. So send me reminders, and come see Buddy real soon. He misses you.

  • Dear Marion, my favorite humans, I am so glad you wrote to me! I have been wishing that I could come to Houston to see you and Buddy. Lindy tries but she can’t really run as fast or jump as high as Buddy. I mean, I do appreciate her efforts on that front. But, she is better off to stick to throwing things in the lake.

I will tell Lindy to put you on my list of people to notify whenever I update. She is such a help to me, I’ll tell you what. I couldn’t do it without her. I am glad you will be reading about all my big adventures and everything. Tell Buddy I’ll write to him soon.

    Your friend,
