You will never believe what a lucky dog I am! Even though I got to go to The Ranch two times already this week, Lindy took me again on Friday. Boy, I was so happy.

The first thing I did, and this was on the way out there, is I barked real loud at this cow. Lindy likes taking pictures of cows. She says they are nice mammals but I'm not so sure.



This is a picture of the pretty lake I went to. See how the sky and the water are almost the same color? It was beautiful.



I saw lots of pretty plants like this one.



And here are some nice photos of me in the back yard.






Lindy makes the photos that she likes best a little bit bigger than the others. Humans, I have noticed, sometimes have a "more is better" ethos. Dogs don't have that. We are happy with what we have, the size that things are, and the way it is... whatever that way is.

Here are even some more swell photos of me during my great fun day at the lake. This is the last of them.

I am going back to the lake today. I guess Lindy needs me to check on some things for her but I think I'll have plenty of time for playing too. I saw Lindy put two tennis balls in the car this morning and I am pretty sure they are for me!









You can see that it looks a little like rain in this photo.

Here are some pictures of me doing my job of patrolling the boat launch. No cats or birds got on the boat launch while I was there, I'll tell you what. It's a serious job for serious dogs.

I thought I could catch this fast lizard that I found but it managed to escape in this tree. Very crafty.

































This is a picture of me swimming with a big stick I found. This was another day when Lindy neglected to bring any toys for me.


As you can see, it looked like rain for awhile. But, lucky for me, it didn't really rain. I think this is a real pretty picture. My guardian took it for me to remember my great day.






This is a picture that Lindy made me pose for. Even though it's posed I still look good. You can really see how handsome I am, especially around the eyes. Just like Rin-Tin-Tin!


This is a picture of me and my guardian at the end of the day. Sometimes when I am tired I like to just sit in her lap. It's good. You can see that she is giving me pats too.


I was real tired at the end of my big day at The Ranch. My Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Ted were not there but I did get to spend some time with my very good friend Buddy. Unfortunately for me Buddy does not like me very much. He has cananine-o-phobia. Once Buddy even scratched me -- And, not 100 percent sure, but I think it was on purpose too -- which I do not think was very friendly of him. But, what I am going to do is just keep making overtures of friendship and hopefully someday he will want to play with me.

Well, it's clear that my weekend is off to a great start. Hope yours is too.
