It's A Dog's Life

My guardian took me to Matagorda Beach today. It's a real great place with wide bands of sand for dogs to run on. Also, there are some dead fish out there for dogs to roll on. It's one of the best features of this beach.

Here's a picture of me when we first got to the beach. See, I'm still in the car.

Lindy made me pose for this one.

I made all these birds fly all by myself.

This is a shot of me at the beach doing some running. Also, playing.

This is what I look like when I am running toward Lindy. When I am happy my tongue goes all limpy like that.

This is me wading out in the water.

Sometimes, if Lindy is real nice and drives slowly, I can stand up on the back part of the car like in this shot. I can see and smell just about everything from up here, and it makes me feel important to be up so high. I can only do it if Lindy is driving real carefully which mostly she does not. But today she did.

As you can see, I had a very good and fun day at Matagorda Beach, Lindy picked up some pretty shells and she said she was real proud of my good obedience.

I hope all of you are having fun and playing hard!

I had a fairly interesting day today. Of course, I had to do all my dog duties including looking out to see that everyone got in some playing today.

After I did my own playing me and Lindy got busy sending out my Christmas cards and putting my great photo magnets in them. Just personally, I did not find this task to be very taxing and I really can't figure out why We didn't do it sooner. It seemed to go by as quickly as a mid-afternoon nap.

Later, we took the cards to a post office. That's where you take stuff to have it delivered to someone else.

Here is a picture of me sitting beside one of the little trucks that gets used in the deliveries. I am pretty sure that this is the truck tht is going to deliver my cards so be on the look out for it.

If you are one of my friends and I have your address, you are getting a card. If I don't have your address, then you're not getting one. But, if you send me your address, I'll send you a card. Well, I will get Lindy to do it.

Anyway, after the post office we visited a place called a river. What a river is is it is kind of like a lake and a gulf except for being called a river. Also, there's more bad critters in a river. I know that's complicated.

Here is a shot of me at the river. Lindy was watching a pelican dive for food but not me. I was watching out for bad critters.

I hope you had an interesting day too.

I love everybody.

Well, as you can see, if you are a'lookin, is that I have even more really great shots of myself at the beach.

In case you don't know, a beach is like a lake only a lot bigger. This particular beach is called The Gulf of Mexico. But, you know what? It's not even in Mexico at all. It's right here in Texas. That's weird, I think. But, one thing that is like Mexico is don't drink the water. It's not good for dogs.

You can really see how big the beach is in this shot. I look good sitting there, don't I?

This is a shot of what I look like when I am running real, real, fast. See, my feet aren't even touching the ground. I'm really flying... really!

More Flying

If you are impressed about Jesus walking on water, well just look at me! I'm running on water.

I am really thankful for my good and fun time of going to the beach. And, best of all, I was with my guardian.

At the end of the day, Lindy put me in my car blanket and she dried me off and told me that I am wonderful. It was such a happy moment. I hope I get to go back to the beach soon.

Love to all,
